Had a cracking weekend, drove from Boro to Brighton, met up with an old Boro mate, good job because I'd have never found the venue, great show. Spent Saturday going round Brighton, it's an excellent place, I need to go & spend a few days there. Saturday drove to Leicester, met up with another mate who'd driven across from Hull. Another great show but some of these support bands!!!!!! Screaming Banshee Aircrew - every goth cliche in the book. Left the car in Leicester, train to London & went round Camden market, it's now a tourist hellhole compared to how it used to be. Another great show, best of the 3 I reckon. Had a chat with Ian from this parish & of course Woody. Spent an hour outside chatting with another lad from Boro who now lives in London, nearly missed last tube back! Monday, train back to Leicester & then drove home. Did 680 miles in the car, about 200 on the train and me feet felt like I walked another 100!!! Well worth it though - roll on Aylesbury

Have to agree! Gigs were superb, Brighton was great though incredibly hot and sweaty and Camden was just an awesome gig. Found my spot at the front and enjoyed every minute of it! Chatted to Tank at Brighton and Dave at Camden. Gonna grab myself some tickets for Aylesbury and also hope to do Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Hadn't been to the Underworld before, was told it was a bit of a dive but I thought it was good in there. Certainly bigger than the Brighton venue and probably not as many people inside as there was at Brighton so it seemed a lot less frantic. Looking forward to Aylesbury but can't say I'm fussed about SLF! Is it the old Friars venue or somewhere else calling itself Friars - anyone know?
